Bioallow me to introduce myself. my name is lauryn...
& i dont know who i am.
the things i do are unnatural to me. and my thoughts belong to someone else.
i look into the mirror and i literally do not recognize the face on the other side.
she stares me down, with black outlined eyes ad a grimace on her mouth. she looks deep into my eyes, and i can see that she is miserable.
i am miserable.
i sit back and watch this person, this stranger, robotically go through the motions of quote unquote "living"... & i am completely detatched from it, from my very own life.
pain + anger + sadness + emotion... it stings for a moment, an instant suspended in time, then it fades. i am numb. i no longer feel.
how am i to know that i am still alive?

i have a heartbeat in my chest & a pulse in my wrists & air in my lungs, and thats all that i can tell you.
because thats all that i know for sure.
& i dont know who i am.
